NBA Opening Day!
Ok. NBA opening day. Here are my thoughts.
Celtics v. Pistons (2:00 pm CT)
- Who will win: Celtics
- Who I want to win: Pistons
- Both teams are in the East, which is so stacked with great players/teams.
- I like both of these scrappy teams.
- My loyalty to the Midwest region makes me root for the Pistons.
- I also like Isaiah Joe (who was traded to the Pistons from the Thunder) a bunch.
76ers v. Knicks (6:00 pm CT)
- Who will win: Knicks
- Who I want to win: Knicks
- Having this on opening day is so cool!
- The defending champs Knicks will want to start the season with a win.
- The 76ers have so many starts. They are hungry to win too.
- Regardless of who wins, seeing these teams play will be fun.
Thunder v. Spurs (8:30 pm CT)
- Who will win: I can’t tell.
- If I have to pick, I’ll give the slight edge to the Spurs. They have played together as a team more.
- Who I want to win: Thunder!!!
- This year, I want the Thunder to be great.
- Jalen Williams is on the list of the top three players I enjoy watching the most this year.
- (The other two players on that list are Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers) & Luka Doncic (Lakers)).
